Property Features
This property is a beautifully restored stable block that has exposed sandstone and beams throughout.

Upstairs there are 3 tastefully decorated bedrooms each with a double bed and storage. There is a bathroom with over bath shower and toilet. There is a further cloakroom upstairs.

Downstairs is a large kitchen dining room with a large pine table. There is a Rayburn in the kitchen for heating and cooking. Additionally there is a double electric oven, halogen hob and microwave. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to have either a romantic meal or host a small gathering. There is also an all important dishwasher.

Leading from the kitchen is a shower room and toilet. From there, is a utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and fridge freezer.

The living room has a log burner for cosy evenings and beautiful leather sofas to relax on. There is a TV, DVD player and music system to make your stay home from home.

Local Amenities Armathwaite is a beautiful village on the banks of the River Eden just 2 miles from the A6 and easily accesible. The village can also be reached by train as it is on the Settle-Carlisle line.

Armathwaite is blessed with two superb well-supported pubs. Both serve excellent food, wine and real ale and are highly recommended by the owners and guests.

There is a small post-office/newsagents that sells essentials. Additionally there is a small shop selling a selection of fresh groceries.
Places to Visit
Armathwaite is well known for it's natural climbing wall, canoeing on the river, fishing, mountain biking, walking and friendly welcome to visitors.

Within a short drive guests can be in the Lake District National Park enjoying the breathtaking scenery.

Carlisle is 20 mins drive away and is an excellent centre for shopping and historic sightseeing. Penrith is 15 mins drive away and is a bustling market town with many interesting and unusual shops.
