The Holiday Villa is:

  • 45 minutes from Dalaman Airport,
  • 20 minutes from Calis Beach and
  • 30 minutes from Olu Deniz blue lagoon.
  • 2Km from the shops, restaurants, wine bars and weekly market in Uzumlu village.

Above the village is the ancient Roman/Lycian city of Cadianda which can be reached in about 15 minutes and is well worth a visit for the fascinating archaeology.
Places to Visit
  • Take boat trips around Fethiye Bay, either during the day or to see the sunset, which are very cheap at around £10 including a meal.
  • Try the Turkish Baths (Hammam) in Fethiye Old Town and pamper yourself with a bath at 20TL and a massage at 15TL – very relaxing.
  • Visit Saklikent Gorge for fabulous views, water rafting, mud baths and a restaurant.
  • Try Tlos Yakapark which has a trout farm close to Tlos with a large and interesting restaurant.
  • Go to Calis Beach to lie on the beach, visit the restaurants, take a water taxi to Fethiye or visit Sultan’s Aquapark.
  • Go to Patara and pass the Roman/Lycian ruins to reach a stunning 20km sandy beach.
  • Go by regular boats from Olu Deniz beach to Butterfly valley to reach an isolated beach and valley filled with butterflies between July and September.
  • Visit Olu Deniz for the Blue Lagoon, beaches and restaurants and maybe take a para-glide off Babadag Mountain!
  • Walk through Kaya Koy which is a deserted village preserved after the population exchanges. You drive through Hisaronu and follow the signs.
  • Gocek is about a 40 minute drive from the villa towards Dalaman Airport and is a beautiful town with a popular up-market marina – on the way stop at Katrançi Beach.
