Sorry for the big gap in updates but it has been school holidays and we have been away! Won't bore you with the details but must tell you this:
Before we left, we used Shuttle Direct (click here and choose 'travel extras' from the left hand menu) to book our transfer from airport to resort in Lanzarote. What a great facility - easy to use our site to get the quote, and book. They were at the airport waiting as we came through the arrivals gate with a new very clean minibus, and when we left, they were again right on time and very, very efficient and pleasant! Highly recommended!
We also booked our airport parking through BCP and chose the option that delivered the car to the arrivals pick up point when we returned. With two young boys and a late flight it proved to be a good choice. We were on the M1 within 20 minutes of collecting our baggage and they even gave us a £1 coin to open the barrier without our having to ask! View the BCP offer here. What a fabulous handset. Have just upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy S which is a serious rival to the i-phone and which the young folk on the avenue tell me makes me just the coolest person around. Last time I was this cool it was the middle of winter!.

It was family and friends open day at our Police headquarters today and our boys had a great time climbing over the police cars, whacking the baddy with a training baton and looking in awe at the helicopter when it flew in! They also enjoyed scoring a goal on the football shoot out which links me very nicely to the fact that Sky TV have some great offers ahead of the World Cup. We went to see Hair tonight, you know the musical 'Age of Aquarius' 'Let the sun shine' and other familiar songs. The revival of this 1967 ground breaking production has just opened in the West End and if you like non stop music, some humour, don't mind a bit of nudity and fancy some nostalgia from the age of the hippy, free love and stuff then you will like this.
At the end of the show, the audience were on the feet for a standing ovation and a number joined the cast on stage for a song and dance - especially those turned 60 who seemed to be reliving their youth!!

Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber's new musical - saw it last night and it was very good!
If you like Phantom of the Opera then you will enjoy this sequel set in New York, 10 years on. We won't spoil the story line for you but, there are powerful performances from the leading roles, Ramin Kariloo as The Phantom and Sierra Boggess as Christine plus of course some more memorable songs (I see that our daily paper is saying that many who have heard the score think it is Llyod Webber's greatest work!)

Chicken Pox has been afflicting our youngest and for some reason he has been full of beans which means it has been hard work trying to keep him occupied whilst at the same time, keeping up with work.
