Spain, Canary Islands, Lanzarote

Lanzarote enjoys a mild dry climate with average daytime temperatures ranging from about 21°C in January to 29°C in August. Amongst the many stunning Volcanic features of Lanzarote is the longest Volcanic Tunnel in the world, the Atlantida Tunnel, which is over 7 km long and includes the La Cueva de los Verdes and Jameos del Agua.

Water sports are very popular with sailing, windsurfing & diving. In the south there is National Park of Timanfaya with its entombed villages from volcanic eruptions, take camel rides around the moon-like landscape & see geothermic exhibitions.

While Lanzarote is not nearly as boisterous as Tenerife or some of the Balearic Islands, there is still plenty of Nightlife to suit most tastes. The centre of Nightlife in Lanzarote is the 'Avenida de las Playas' in Puerto del Carmen and the 'Centro Atlantico' in particular.

Spain, Canary Islands, Fuerteventura

There is nowhere else in the Canaries with as many enormous sand dunes & long sandy beaches (150+). Even though most of the land consists of stone & rock, these are some of the most impressive beaches in all Europe.

Water sports are very popular with surfing, windsurfing, kiteboarding & diving. If you like fishing take your rod as the beach fishing is excellent.

Take a short boat ride to the small island of Los Lobos to really get away from it all with its nature reserve.

Hire a car for a few days go and visit the dunes and Catillio in the north of the island and Jandia beach down south. Rosario is worth a shopping trip.

If you like walking walk up the mountain behind the complex, it's an hours walk, make sure you take some nuts because you will come across plenty of hungry chipmunks that live amongst the rocks.

Tenerife is probably one of the last European paradise isles. "Fascinating" is the word for this island. It offers lush forests, exotic fauna and flora, deserts, mountains, volcanoes, sometimes snow, incredibly beautiful coastlines and spectacular beaches.
